Why Homeowners in Horry County Choose Kohler Generators
Power outages here on the Grand Strand can disrupt more than just lights – they affect AC, well pumps, medical devices, and more. Whether you're in a neighborhood in Carolina Forest, a beachside spot in Myrtle Beach, or right in Conway, a Kohler standby generator from Cooper Electrical Services provides dependable protection.
Here’s what sets Kohler apart for local homes:
- PowerBoost™ Technology – Handles big startup loads (like central AC or well pumps) without dropping power to other appliances.
- Runs on Your Home’s Natural Gas or Propane – Connects directly to your existing natural gas line or LP tank for clean, reliable operation – no storing gasoline, no extension cords, and no manual refueling during an outage as long as your fuel supply is available (propane tanks are refilled periodically by your supplier).
- Automatic Operation – Senses an outage and kicks in within seconds – even if you're away from home.
- Built for Coastal Storms – Weatherproof enclosures tested to withstand 181 mph winds, ideal for Horry County hurricanes.
- Quiet & Neighbor-Friendly – Operates as low as 64 dB during weekly self-tests (quieter than a typical lawnmower).
- Free KOHLER Energy Management App – Check status, run tests, and monitor your generator from your phone, whether you're in Carolina Forest, Myrtle Beach, Conway, or out of town.
- Standard 5-Year / 2,000-Hour Warranty – Kohler stands behind their quality, with extended options available through certified dealers like us.
Kohler generators deliver the same commercial-grade reliability used in hospitals and critical facilities – now safeguarding Horry County homes just like yours.
